We intend to keep critical systems close to the team so research, software, and hardware decisions can inform one another as the programs mature.

Claims should follow evidence. Programs advance through simulation, prototypes, testing, and documented learning rather than specification alone.

Starlight begins with reuse as a system-level design constraint rather than an optimization added later.
